By contributing to the Kirkside Project, you can be a part of creating a lasting legacy for the region. Your investment will help to realize this ambitious vision and make a positive impact on the lives of many.

With $6,800,000 committed funds in sight, a solid partnership with SUNY Delhi, and complete design, development, and construction drawings nearing completion, we need to raise an additional $3,300,000 over the next two years. Pledges toward that goal will put us into construction in Spring 2025.

How to pledge

Please pledge today. Pledges can be satisfied in increments through the course of construction (January 2025 - December 2026) or all at once. Funds will be maintained in a restricted construction account. The Kirkside Project is a MARK Project initiative, contributions to which are deductible to the full extent allowed by law.

    Allows us to build out the entry deck. Your gift will be memorialized with your name etched on a deck board with fellow investors, and on the donor wall.

  • Mise en Place

    A French kitchen phrase that means 
    “putting in place” or “gathering.”

    $100 - $499

    Allows us to get the final coat of paint on the wall. Your investment will be memorialized on the donor wall.

  • Kirkside Club

    $20 per month for two years gets the windows washed, and the floors refinished. You’ll get a Kirkside Koupon Book with great deals on drinks, dining, and lodging, and your name on the donor wall.

Donor Acknowledgment of Reliance and Recognition

Donor hereby acknowledges that the MARK Project is relying upon and will rely upon the pledge set forth herein by counting the Gift as a receivable asset reported on the Kirkside balance sheet, planning expenditures based on the expectation of the fulfillment of the Gift, granting the Donor, as appropriate, the recognition specified above in advance of the payment of the Gift, and using the pledge set forth herein as an inducement for others to make contributions to Kirkside Project.

It is intended that the Agreement shall be treated as a pledge in compliance with the applicable Financial Accounting Standards promulgated by the Financial Accounting Standards Board for pledges to charitable institutions.

Legal and Binding Nature of the pledge

This pledge is a binding agreement, ensuring that the Donors’ commitment of support is honored beyond their lifetimes. It establishes a commitment that extends to their heirs, successors, executors, and trustees guaranteeing that their support and commitment become a reality. Donor shall keep in force a valid Last Will and Testament, Revocable Trust or other testamentary instrument which shall provide that Donor’s estate shall be responsible for the Donor’s obligations hereunder.
